The Results
For this case study our objective was to analyze performance data from our customer's solar electric system before and after receiving TSR's O&M Gold Shield service plan. In 2009, the system was installed within the Southern California Edison utility territory and operated through 2010 deprived of adequate annual maintenance. The TSR O&M Gold Shield was mplemented at the beginning of 2011 and performed per the annual maintenance schedule. After comparing new performance data with the year's prior, the data revealed that irradiance levels remained relatively similar, while performance data showed an average monthly improvement of 14%. With a TOU/GS3 tariff set at 16.5 Cents/kWh, the TSR O&M Gold Shield yielded an additional 152,789 kWh's of performance, translating into $25,000 in additional revenue for our customer over the course of that year. The financial benefits resulted in a 3-to-1 profits over costs. |
